The gap of the thread of the ram of the vertical tool post for vertical lathe can be adjusted. The nut is composed of two pieces "A" and "B" and is connected with the key "C". When adjusting, remove the cover "G" from the ram for vertical lathe, and move the ram for vertical lathe so that the window faces the two lock nuts "D" and "E". Pull out the claw of the lock washer "F", loosen the nut "D" and adjust with the nut "E". After adjusting the thread gap properly, tighten the nut "D" and clamp the nut with the claws of the lock washer, and then cover the cover "G".
