The hydraulic system of this vertical lathe machine is used for worktable speed-changing, beam relaxation and clamping, worktable guide rail pressure lubrication, gearbox and worktable transmission mechanism lubrication.

When worktable of vertical lathe machine changes speed , select the gears Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ on the panel, press speed-changing button and the solenoid directional valve YV6 is energized, the pressure oil passes of vertical lathe machine through the solenoid directional valve to the oil cylinder end of the gearbox positioning lock rod, and the lock rod is pushed to the release position at the same time, the variable speed induction switch is energized, so that the main motor of vertical lathe machine is automatically servo, and the YV1-YV4 solenoid directional valve is energized according to the table below. At this time, the pressure oil is divided into two ways by the lock lever positioning valve, and the solenoid directional valve YV1-YV4 is sent to one end of the oil cylinder, so that the pull rod and the shift fork of vertical lathe push the gears to change speed. After the sliding gears are correctly meshed, the main motor servo stops. The solenoid directional valve YV6 is de-energized, and the positioning lock lever returns to its original position. At the same time, the variable speed induction switch of vertical lathe machine is disconnected from the lock lever. After 2 seconds, the YV1-YV4 solenoid directional valve is de-energized and speed-changing is finished.
