As global manufacturing shifts toward higher precision, greater automation, and longer unmanned machining cycles, the demand for stable, compact and long-lasting CNC lathes continues to rise. The TCK6340 CNC slant-bed lathe was developed to meet these new production requirements, integrating structural rigidity, servo responsiveness and improved operational reliability into one advanced platform.

The machine employs a 30-degree slant bed optimized for chip flow and thermal stability. Compared with traditional flat-bed designs, this layout helps maintain consistent accuracy during long machining hours, especially when turning steel or cast iron components. The casting is produced using resin sand technology and undergoes dual artificial aging, resulting in superior vibration damping and structural uniformity. Its overall size, approximately 2100 × 1500 × 1600 mm, provides a compact footprint without compromising rigidity.

The X and Z motion system uses roller-type linear guides and C3-class ball screws, allowing a rapid traverse speed of 20 m/min on both axes. The travel lengths of roughly 200 mm in X and 400 mm in Z give the machine a comfortable machining window for shaft and disc-type components. Precise feed control maintains repeatability within about 0.005 mm and positioning accuracy near 0.008 mm, enabling the TCK6340 to achieve fine surface finishes and dimensionally stable results even in demanding tolerances.

A key highlight is the 7.5 kW spindle motor that delivers strong torque across the low- to mid-speed range, enabling efficient roughing and uninterrupted heavy-duty turning. The spindle structure follows the A2-5 format with a bore diameter close to 56 mm, making it suitable for medium-diameter bar work. At full capacity, the spindle reaches speeds up to 4000 rpm, covering both powerful cutting and high-speed finishing applications.

To enhance production efficiency, the machine features a hydraulic chuck for rapid clamping and can be paired with a turret capable of holding multiple tools for turning, threading, grooving and drilling operations. Optional power turrets and bar feeders further elevate the capability of the TCK6340, making it suitable for batch production or automated manufacturing lines.

The machine's fully enclosed guarding ensures cleaner workshop environments, while optional oil mist collection and chip disposal systems help maintain long-term stability. Electrical components are sourced from established brands, and users can choose between FANUC, Siemens or domestic CNC systems to match their familiarity and process standards.

With a machine weight approaching 2800 kg, the TCK6340 achieves excellent rigidity for its size class. Industries such as automotive components, hydraulic systems, machinery parts and hardware manufacturing can benefit from the machine's precision, reliability and consistent machining output.
