Structure Introduction

 

This machine tool is a double-column vertical lathe, in which the right tool post is a CNC tool post and the left tool post is an ordinary ram. The machine tool is composed of main parts such as gantry, worktable, gearbox, beam, vertical tool post, electrical and hydraulic station.

 

The left upright column, right upright column, connecting beam, worktable, etc. form a closed symmetrical frame. The crossbeam is driven by the lifting motor, gearbox, and lead screw to move up and down on the column guide rail. The main drive of the worktable is driven by a AC motor and a frequency converter through gears to reduce the speed of the worktable to obtain the corresponding working speed. The gearbox has reliable performance.

 

The gantry is connected to the foundation to form a closed symmetrical frame. It uses high-strength low-stress cast iron (HT250), which has sufficient rigidity and strength to ensure the accuracy of the machine tool for a long time. Maintainability and stability. Through finite element analysis and calculation, the gantry's size structure and stress state are optimized to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity. A lifting box is installed on the upper part of the column, driven by a dual-axis AC motor, and driven by a helical gear, a worm gear, and a screw pair to make the beam move vertically on the column.

 

Structure overview

 

The working table of this machine tool is driven by an AC main motor through a gearbox, which controls the gear-changing of the variable speed oil cylinder to achieve four-speed stepless speed regulation of the working table. The working table can be jogged forward and backward to facilitate workpiece alignment, and the speed change of the working tableis carried out on the button station.

The spindle of the working table is equipped with high-precision double row cylindrical roller bearings. Its inner ring has the taper that can adjust radial clearance to ensure that the spindle operates smoothly with centering accuracy.

 

The right tool post of this machine tool is CNC and the left tool post is programmed controlled.The feed process of the left & right tool post is controlled by servo system, and the vertical tool post and crossbeam feed are controlled separately. When operating the tool post, the operator drives the feed in both directions of the tool post by controlling the servo according to the workpiece situation. The feed amount and spindle speed are set by the operator themselves. There is a handheld pulse on the button station, which can conveniently control the feed rate of the tool post during feed.

 

The vertical tool post uses hydraulic oil cylinders to balance the weight of the ram. The upper part of the tool post is equipped with two unloading rollers. Adjusting the screws on its upper end can make a portion of the weight of the upright tool post borne by the rollers, reducing the wear of the diagonal iron on the sliding seat on the crossbeam.

The crossbeam is clamped onto the vertical column by a clamping cylinder through a lever. Before lifting the crossbeam, the pressure oil opens the cylinder to release the crossbeam, and its operation is also on the button station.
