Main drive
The main drive of the machine tool is a common AC motor, which is driven by gears to reduce speed, The vertical tool post uses hydraulic oil cylinders to balance the weight of the ram. The upper part of the tool post is equipped with two unloading rollers. Adjusting the screws on its upper end can make a portion of the weight of the upright tool post borne by the rollers, reducing the wear of the diagonal iron on the sliding seat on the crossbeam.
The crossbeam is clamped onto the vertical column by a clamping cylinder through a lever. Before lifting the crossbeam, the pressure oil opens the cylinder to release the crossbeam, and its operation is also on the button station.

Hydraulic system explanation
This machine tool adopts hydraulic pressure to achieve speed-changing of working table, the relaxation of beam clamping mechanism, lubrication of working table and the balance of left and right tool post rams. So actuating the oil pump firstly before using the lathe.
The variable speed of the working table is determined by the operator to choose the high and low speed according to the actual needs of the processing workpiece, After the table stops rotating, press the speed change button to select the desired rotation speed, the the electromagnetic reversing valve gets the electricity and turn on the pressure oil; simultaneously the pressure oil is connected with the cylinder corresponding to the rotation speed. When the cylinder is moving, push the gear through the pull rod and fork to change speed. During the speed change process, the main motor point moving to help hang the gear. After the speed-changing is completed, the main motor pulse stops and the yellow light is off on the button station, then table rotation can be started. When pressing the beam rise or down button, the electromagnetic change valve is energized, the clamping mechanism is relaxed, the beam starts to lift; release the button, the electromagnetic change valve power off, the beam stops lifting, and the clamping mechanism clamps the beam on the vertical column.
