Model C5225/ C5232/ C5235/ C5240/ C5250/ C5263 double column vertical lathe is composed of vertical column, main gearbox, worktable, beam lifting mechanism, left and right vertical tool posts, electrical system, hydraulic system, etc. The machine tool adopts a gantry type structure, that is, the two vertical columns are connected with the two sides of the worktable, the main gearbox is closed behind the worktable, the beam moves up and down on the vertical column guide rail, and the left vertical tool post and right vertical tool post are arranged on the beam, can do horizontal and vertical feed and rapid movement. The machine tool is equipped with a button station, and the main operations on the machine tool are concentrated on the button station.

Product Feature
The left and right tool posts of this machine tool are both programmable tool posts. The feed process of the tool post is controlled by domestic servo motor, and the vertical tool post and crossbeam feed are controlled separately. When operating the tool post, the operator drives the feed in both directions of the tool post by controlling the servo according to the workpiece situation. The feed amount and spindle speed are set by the operator themselves. There is a handheld pulse on the button station, which can conveniently control the feed rate of the tool post during feed.
Installation step
1. Put the worktable which connected to the gearbox on the foundation, put two pieces same height block gauge in the equidistant place from worktable to the center, put the flat ruler on the gauge block,and put a gradienter on the flat ruler to read out the worktable horizontal levelness, then rotate the table to 90 ° direction and adjust the vertical levelness using the same method. Adjust the levelness by adjusting the sizing block.
2. Fix the worktable and vertical columns with bolts and taper pins, make sure that the two front guide rail surface of vertical columns is in same plane, the tolerance is 0.08mm. Micrometer or filler gauge can be used to test, if there is no long enough flat ruler, crossbeam can be used to instead the flat ruler.
3. Install the middle beam and top beam on the vertical columns, equipped with the adjustment pad between the middle beam and vertical column.
4. Install the ladder on back of the left and right of vertical column.
5. Remove the cross beam plate screws, take down the platen, remove the nut of clamping device, take down the clamping plate, install the crossbeam on the vertical column guide rail, insert the adjust iron plate between the left vertical column and left side of crossbeam, and then install the platen and adjust the adjusting plate compression screw nut, mount the crossbeam lifting screw rod, the parallelism of crossbeam and working table surface could be adjusted by adjusting the screw nut which is on the top of the lifting screw rod, putting the square gradienter on the top guide rail surface of crossbeam to check, installation accuracy of the crossbeam should be according to the requirement of the machine certificate of compliance.
