Model C5225/ C5232/ C5235/ C5240/ C5250/ C5263 double column vertical lathe is a double-column vertical lathe, in which the left and right tool posts are programming tool posts,and square ram.
The machine tool consists of main parts such as gantry, worktable, gearbox, beam, vertical tool post, electrical and hydraulic system. The left vertical column, right vertical column, connecting beam, worktable, etc. form a closed symmetrical frame. The crossbeam is driven by the lifting motor, gear box, and lead screw to move up and down on the column guide rail. The main drive of the worktable is driven by a AC motor and reduced by gears to make the worktable obtain the corresponding working speed, and the gearbox has reliable performance.

Application
This machine tool is suitable for rough and fine machining of ferrous, non-ferrous metals and some non-metal parts with high-speed steel and hard alloy tools. It can process inner and outer cylindrical surfaces, end faces, inner and outer conical surfaces, and grooving.
Main drive
The main drive is driven by an AC motor, and the brake is an energy-consumption brake, which cooperates with mechanical speed change to achieve the required speed of the worktable. The gear shift is realized by the hydraulic cylinder pushing the shift fork to drive the gear to move. The main drive AC motor has a power of 55Kw, and the gearbox gear adopts high-precision ground gears with low noise; the large spiral bevel gear adopts 20CrMnTi carburizing quenching gear grinding technology.
